A well arranged wardrobe saves him from embarrassments that can arise and helps to build up his self-esteem. It is clear to him that to look professional, attract attention, and complement his personality that a custom shirt shop is the best place to be instead of a using 'all rounders'' that do not fit and serve his purpose very well.

What Do I Need?

Shirts- These are the foundation of any attire and they will only look, feel and fit well if all the expertise from a custom shirt shop has been invested to create them according to your needs. It is important that dress shirts are laundered professionally. The amount of shirts that you will need will be governed by your willingness to take them to be laundered ever so often. For some men this time period can be every two weeks. Therefore, if you wear two weeks of dress shirts then 10-12 custom shirts will be necessary according to the specifications below.

1.       Whites- These are like 'sugar in coffee' for many men, especially if they are working in a formal setting.

2.       Blues- Blues can vary from Light, Classic, Medium to French blues

3.       Stripes- These can be very useful in any wardrobe and the best choices are classic single color stripes to be worn with suits and multi-colored stripes to be worn with a sports jacket.

4.       Checks- The best choices are single color for suits and variations for blazers.

Men's Suits- It is important to have a suits that are flexible, meaning they should cover a wide range of colours, fabrics and still have a professional look. A man's wardrobe does not have to be dull and as a tip custom tailors suggest that a black suit should be a part of a man's list of apparel along with flannels, tweeds, herringbones, pinstripes and solids to add a little spice each time. Suits that are light in colour and weight are to be separated for hotter temperatures. The more variety  man is able wear, the he tells others that he is successful, trendy and conscious about his overall physique. A wardrobe should have as many suits as possible and this all depends on the man himself and financial position to acquire them.

Slacks
Slacks The last thing any man wants in a professional or social setting is to appear with slacks he used a day or two before. To avoid this men are encouraged to mix the fabrics that are in their wardrobe by incorporating items with wool, flannel and cotton. If you want to look professional and up-to-date then you should at least 15 slacks along with pants.

Blazers
Blazers- These can serve a dual purpose: to complement a man's presence in a business-like setting or to add more value to him in a social setting. It is important to have at least one navy blazer along with some assortments of plaids, tweeds and solids. Most men will only need about 4 blazers that are prepared in advance to special occasions or even work.

Jackets
Jackets and Topcoats- Just about all gentlemen should have these, because they allow flexibility in the word of business and casual settings. For colder temperatures it is important to have a topcoat over one's suit. If you are in doubt about this, then seek then seek the advice of you custom tailor about the number of topcoats and jackets that you will need.

Vest
Vest- These can be a part of a suit or can be used separately. Most men will only need 2 the most. However, there are men that have 5-7 vests as part of their wardrobe.

Texdos
Men's Tuxedos- These are important in any gentleman's wardrobe. It is important to prepare oneself in advance by having a tuxedo made and not wait until the last minute to hire the services of a tailor that could be expensive. A tuxedo that has been properly made will be a part of your wardrobe for years.

Tuxedo Shirts
Tuxedo Shirts- Special occasions have a way of popping up and for this very reason every man should ensure that his tuxedo shirts are done in advance to avoid last minute planning problems. We recommend at least two. If you love to be in style then always talk to your custom tailor to hear what he/she has to say about the latest fashion trends.

Ties
Ties- These are very important parts of an attire and should be chosen with care to match suits and shirts alike. If you are not sure which to chose then have your custom tailor help you select fabric colours, stripes, ties, and patterns for your wardrobe. Based on our years of experience in the area, we recommend 10-25 well selected ties to have a fashionable and chic wardrobe.

Shoes
Shoes ? It is important that you chose shoes that are different. The Oxford or capped Oxford are the basis for any man's business wardrobe. It is not appropriate to use this shoe with business wear. The penny loafer and tassel loafer are two additional classics that should be added to any man's wardrobe. To add a little variety to this then a suede bucks would fit perfectly.

Belts
Belts- There are as important as shoes for any man. A black belt with a nice buckle is a smart way to add to your wardrobe. However, for less serious situations then you may want to consider another colour outside of black. If you really want to get personal then a custom buckle would be perfect to get this done. This is where custom tailors come in to help you choose the best accessories for your wardrobe.

Socks
Socks- It is important to use subtle socks that are not overly ostentatious, but that provide a pleasant contrast between slacks and shoes.  For business,  knee length black socks are the best options. A man that wants to be well-prepared for unknown occasions may want to add dark grey, dark blue and dark green to his collection as well.
